6 Nights /7 Days Escorted Vision Impaired Tour to Bali
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Bali Mandira hotel. Afternoon is free at leisure.
This evening we will be picked up from the hotel for dinner at a local restaurant with a Kecak dance performance.
Day 2: Mahatmiya Mengwi
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today we will visit a local vision impaired school in Mengwi.
We will have the chance to interact with the students playing traditional “gamelan” and “rindik” bamboo music & singing.
A “Morning Tea in the Dark” will be served and the opportunity for photo’s in Balinese costume.
The group will continue to Mengwi “Taman Ayun” Royal Temple dating back to the 16th Century en-route we stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Day 3: Cooking Class in Ubud
A takeaway breakfast option will be provided this morning due to our early departure.
06:30 We will be met and transferred to Ubud. (approx.. 90 mins driving time)
Upon arrival we visit a local food & spice market to gather the ingredients for the class.
The talented instructors will guide you step by step using traditional utensils & methods to follow generation old recipes. At the end of the course, you will enjoy what you have created.
Day 4: Kertalangu Mekar Bhuana Cultural Centre
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Free morning at leisure.
14:00 Take a half day Dance and Gamelan Lesson with professional musicologist and dancers in a private session.
A session will typically include explanations of the arts, demonstrations by local practitioners, as well as a chance to try the chosen art-form. Programmes may be specifically gamelan or dance, or a combination of both.
This evening we continue to a local restaurant to have dinner on the beach, before returning to the hotel.

Day 5: Lantang Hidung Village, Batuan – Kemenuh
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
This morning we take a walk around a local village to get a feel for the Balinese day to day life.
After exploring the village, we make a stop to challenge your creativity. Choose one of three activities offered by our hosts; painting; making wooden masks; or making silver jewellery. You will be able to bring these tokens home as memorable souvenirs.
We then continue to visit the Batuan Temple and have lunch at a restaurant in the Butterfly Park.
Day 6: Jimbaran Vvell Dinner
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Morning is free at leisure.
18:00 Pick up at the hotel, for a drive to Jimbaran Bay where you will enjoy a Seafood BBQ dinner at restaurant on the beach. Feel the breeze, hear the sound of the waves and enjoy the seafood delights. You may even have a chance to sing together with the accompaniment of a travelling guitarist.
20:00 Return to the hotel.
Day 7: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The remainder of the day is free at leisure for shopping or relaxing by the pool.
This evening we will be transferred to the airport for our flight home.
